Disney Family Museum Celebrates Winnie the Pooh with Perfect Pairing Event
The Walt Disney Family Museum is celebrating Winnie the Pooh's 100th anniversary with its Perfect Pairing event on September 30, 2026. The screening of The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (1977) will be paired with mead pours and honey samples from Heidrun Meadery.
The museum's Perfect Pairing series matches a specific movie with an adult beverage for guests to enjoy during the screening. This special event is part of the celebration of Winnie the Pooh's centennial anniversary, which began in 2024.
Guests can purchase tickets online starting September 3 for members and September 4 for non-members. The cost is $15 for members and $25 for non-members, with each ticket including admission to the film, one glass of mead or a non-alcoholic beverage, and light snacks. Additional beverages and food can be purchased separately.
Heidrun Meadery has been producing high-quality meads since 1995, with Gordon Hull experimenting with sparkling wines from honey at his small operation in Arcata, California. After expanding to a former dairy farm in Point Reyes Station, the meadery now offers unique experiences for visitors and enthusiasts of wine, nature, and conviviality.
