Disney Guest Abandons Ride Vehicle on Tiana's Bayou Adventure

A recent incident at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom has raised concerns about guest safety on the Tiana's Bayou Adventure ride. An adult exited their log vehicle while it was in motion, forcing the ride to stop for over 20 minutes. The guest claimed they were 'scared' of the upcoming drop.

This is not an isolated incident, as similar situations have occurred at the Disneyland version of the ride in California. In June 2026, a 13-year-old fell down the 50-foot drop while exiting their vehicle, but fortunately, they were evaluated and released from a local hospital.

The two versions of Tiana's Bayou Adventure share similarities, but their ride vehicles differ. Guests at Disneyland sit single-file with no restraints, whereas those at Magic Kingdom sit in rows of two people with lap bars.
