Disney hikes park ticket prices as new fiscal year starts
The Walt Disney Company has raised ticket prices for its theme parks as the new fiscal year begins. The increases, announced on Tuesday, affect both single-day passes and annual passes, with variations depending on the park and the day visited.
At Walt Disney World, the most expensive day and park combination, Christmas Day at Magic Kingdom, will now cost $229 for a single adult ticket in 2027, up from $209 this year. The same price applies to New Year’s Eve. The initial expectation for 2027 was $219, according to USA Today. The most economical park, Animal Kingdom, remains at $119 per day.
Annual passes have also seen increases across different tiers. The Pixie Dust Pass, the lowest tier for Florida residents with blackout dates, rose by $10. The Pirate Pass and Sorcerer Pass, both with blackout dates and limited to Florida residents, each increased by $40. The Incredi-Pass, available to all guests without blackout dates, went up by $120.
Additionally, the skip-the-line service Single Rider Pass will see a “moderate increase,” while the premium Lightning Lane Premiere Pass will rise by up to $50 depending on demand. Lightning Lane Multi Pass and parking prices will remain unchanged, according to CNN.
At Disneyland, some prices increased by 3% to 4%, or $5 to $10, depending on dates, while the Magic Key annual passes stayed the same.
