Disney Hikes Ticket Prices at US Theme Parks
Disney has adjusted ticket prices at its US theme parks, with increases affecting both Disneyland in California and Walt Disney World in Florida. The changes, announced on Tuesday, vary by date, ticket tier, and add-ons like the Park Hopper option.
At Disneyland, the cheapest single-day ticket remains at $104, while the highest-priced single-day ticket stays at $224. However, middle-tier prices have risen by $5 for select options. For example, a tier two ticket now costs $154 instead of $149, and a tier three ticket costs $174, up from $169. The Park Hopper add-on, which allows access to multiple parks in one day, has also seen a price increase of $75 to $95, depending on the date.
In Florida, Disney World has raised prices for annual passes and single-day tickets for peak dates. A single-day ticket to the Magic Kingdom on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve in 2027 now costs $229, up from $209 for the same dates this year. Annual pass prices have also increased, with the lowest-priced pass, the Pixie Dust Pass, now costing $499, up from $89. Other annual passes, such as the Pirate Pass, Sorcerer Pass, and Incredi-Pass, have seen increases ranging from $10 to $120.
The lowest-priced single-day ticket at Disney’s Animal Kingdom remains unchanged at $119. Disney’s pricing strategy continues to be based on factors like the time of year, the number of days visited, and additional add-ons.
