Disney Hosts Luxury Fundraiser for Republican Attorney General James Uthmeier

Walt Disney Co., once an advocate for LGBTQ+ inclusion and critic of Florida's 'Don't Say Gay' law, is now hosting a $25,000-per-head fundraiser for Republican Attorney General James Uthmeier at Walt Disney World.

The event, which will take place on October 23-25, is just over a week before the November general election and marks Disney's return to supporting candidates in both major political parties that it deems as allies.

Disney has contributed $1,440 to Uthmeier's campaign this month alone, with nearly $6 million paid out in total to both Republicans and Democrats so far this election cycle, according to campaign finance records.
