Disney Launches Indonesia Subscription Bundle with Local Streamer Vidio

Disney has launched a subscription bundle in Indonesia in partnership with local streamer Vidio. The 'Vidio Ultimate Disney+ All Screen Bundle' offers access to both Vidio's and Disney+'s content for subscribers.

The bundle includes Disney's global shows like Only Murders in the Building, as well as their blockbusters such as Star Wars and Marvel movies, alongside local Asia Pacific originals. It also combines with Vidio's local rights to sports events like the English Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.

Vidio subscribers will also get access to a 'Taste of Disney+' collection, featuring select episodes from shows like Flex X Cop Season 2, High Potential, Sofia the First, and Grey's Anatomy. This marks Disney's first collaboration in Indonesia with a local streamer as part of their strategy to expand their reach.

Tony Zameczkowski, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Direct-to-Consumer, Asia Pacific, The Walt Disney Company, stated that this deal 'elevates the streaming experience for fans and new audiences' by combining Disney's content with Vidio's local entertainment ecosystem. He also emphasized the focus on accelerating collaborations to expand the reach of Disney+ in APAC.
