Disney Magic Kingdom Transforms Rapidly Ahead of Christmas

Magic Kingdom is gearing up for its annual Halloween transformation, but this year it's just the beginning. The park will transition from orange and autumn colors to Christmas decorations within days of Halloween ending.

The rapid change allows Disney to kick off Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on November 8th. This event brings Christmas entertainment and seasonal experiences back to Magic Kingdom for select evenings through December 22nd.

Beyond the holiday decorations, a major expansion is underway in Frontierland. The new area, Piston Peak National Park, will bring the world of Disney and Pixar's Cars into Magic Kingdom. Construction on this project will continue as Disney moves forward with its plans.
