Disney Parks Unveil Early Concepts for Monstropolis and Carousel of Progress

Visitors to Walt Disney World's Hollywood Studios can now get an early glimpse at two upcoming attractions through new displays in Walt Disney Presents. One display showcases concept art and details for Monstropolis, a Monsters, Inc.-themed land coming to the park. The other highlights updates to the Carousel of Progress show in Magic Kingdom.

The Monstropolis display features concept art for the entrance, 'Welcome to Monstropolis' show, and the Glob Theater, as well as images of monster-themed food stands and animatronic creatures like monster pigeons and squirrels. One concept art piece shows guests dining at Harryhausen's Restaurant with an animatronic behind them.

Meanwhile, the Carousel of Progress display includes new costumes, models of Acts I and IV, and a collection of concept art showing off the updated scenes in the show.
