Disney Prepares for Spooky Weather at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is back at Disney's Magic Kingdom in Orlando, but this time around, inclement weather has become a major concern for partygoers. With late summer and fall storms a regular occurrence in Central Florida, Disney has published a weather policy page on the My Disney Experience app to keep guests informed.

Rain alone won't cancel the event, but thunder and lightning will impact outdoor entertainment and some attractions. According to Disney's policy, some Magic Kingdom park attractions will not operate during inclement weather. Guests are advised to check the Attractions page in the My Disney Experience app for current availability and wait times.

The Boo-to-You Parade and Not-So-Spooky Spectacular may also be subject to change or cancellation if a storm rolls in at the wrong time. However, Trick-or-Treat Trails throughout the park will remain available even during inclement weather, allowing guests to continue collecting candy rain or shine.

Disney suggests prioritizing entertainment earlier in the evening and keeping an eye on the weather forecast before party night. With unpredictable storms common in Central Florida during this time of year, planning ahead is key for a fun and spooky Halloween celebration at Magic Kingdom.
