Disney Raises Magic Kingdom Fireworks Viewing Prices to New Highs
Walt Disney World Resort has raised prices for prime fireworks viewing at Magic Kingdom, making it more expensive for guests to secure a less chaotic experience of the Happily Ever After show. According to reports, adult rates for the three fireworks dessert parties, Pre-Party, Post-Party, and Seats & Sweets, have increased as of October 6. The Pre-Party and Post-Party adult tickets now range from $104 to $119, up from $99 to $109, while Seats & Sweets has risen from $124 to $134 to $129 to $144. Children’s prices remain unchanged.
The dessert parties offer reserved viewing areas or patio seating at Tomorrowland Terrace, providing a more controlled and stress-free experience compared to the regular viewing chaos. However, the price hike adds to the financial burden for budget-conscious families, as the dessert-party charge sits on top of park admission and other potential upgrades like Lightning Lane prices.
Beyond the fireworks viewing, Disney has also reportedly increased prices for select tours, including the Keys to the Kingdom Tour at Magic Kingdom, Savor the Savanna at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Wild Africa Trek. Guests are advised to verify the live booking price for their date before making reservations, as Disney’s official pages have not yet reflected these changes.
While Happily Ever After remains free to watch with regular park admission, the premium for reserved viewing is becoming more costly. Guests should also be aware of potential changes, rescheduling, or cancellations of fireworks and the 24-hour cancellation policy for Seats & Sweets.
