Disney Removes Auli'i Cravalho from Candlelight Processional Lineup
Walt Disney World is gearing up for its annual Candlelight Processional at EPCOT, a beloved holiday tradition that has undergone a notable change this year. The event, which runs from November 27 through December 30, 2026, features celebrity narrators, a 51-piece orchestra, and a choir of over 150 performers. However, one of the most significant updates is the removal of Auli'i Cravalho, the voice of Moana, from the opening weekend lineup.
Disney has not provided a reason for Cravalho's removal, leaving guests who planned their visits around her appearance in limbo. The company has also not yet announced a replacement narrator for the November 27-28 slot. This change is particularly impactful given that dining package reservations open on October 14, and many guests prioritize seeing specific narrators.
The event has added new narrators, including Benjamin Bratt for December 2-3 and Josh Groban for December 13-14. Groban's inclusion is expected to draw significant interest due to his musical background. The full lineup includes a mix of returning favorites and first-time participants like Robin Roberts, Jason Kelce, and Lacey Chabert.
Dining packages, which provide reserved seating for the show, range from $43 to over $100 per adult. Guests should book early, as popular dates tend to fill up quickly. While the packages ensure access to the reserved section, seats are not assigned, so arriving early is still recommended.
