Disney Studios Lot Unveils New Character Statues Ahead of Magic of Disney Animation Debut
The Walt Disney Studios Lot at Disney's Hollywood Studios has welcomed new character statues to its courtyard lineup. In addition to the existing figures, Bolt, two Dalmatian puppies, and Meeko the raccoon have been added to the area. The statues are part of an ongoing expansion that began in July 2025 with plans to replace Animation Courtyard.
The latest additions bring a playful touch to the courtyard, which has grown steadily since its opening on May 20, 2026. Meeko's statue features him standing upright on a patch of grass, holding a red-and-white striped popcorn box in one paw and enjoying it with the other.
The courtyard now boasts an impressive lineup of statues from Disney's animated library, including Pua and Thumper, Jiminy Cricket, Lucifer, Cinderella's bluebird, Mochi, Sir Hiss, Fru-Fru, Jaq, Gus, Timothy Mouse, Zazu, Ray the firefly, Abu, and more.
The Magic of Disney Animation experience is set to open on September 14th, with The Walt Disney Studios Lot courtyard already offering an immersive experience for guests.
