Disney Studios Promotes Upcoming Films and Shows in Spain
Walt Disney Studios recently traveled to Spain to promote several upcoming films and shows at the FYCMA event in Málaga. Over 3,000 fans attended the panels held in Hall M, where details about new releases were shared. One of the highlights was the Disney+ Original series "VisionQuest," concluding the trilogy that started with "WandaVision" and continued with "Agatha All Along." Paul Bettany, who plays Vision, introduced an exclusive montage and the first 22 minutes of the first episode. The series follows Vision as he searches for meaning and confronts his past while on the run with a mysterious boy who may be his son.
The event also featured a surprise appearance from Anthony and Joe Russo, directors of "Avengers: Doomsday," along with stars Anthony Mackie, David Harbour, and Winston Duke. They introduced an extended trailer for the film, which will be released in theaters on December 18, 2026, and on Disney+ in early 2027. The movie brings together heroes from different universes to face an existential threat.
Attendees got a sneak peek at "Disney’s Hexed," an animated coming-of-age saga about a teenage girl discovering magical abilities, and "Gatto," a Pixar film about a black cat in Venice navigating life and debt. Other upcoming releases include "Ice Age: Boiling Point" and the survival thriller "Whalefall." Stars and directors from these projects also participated in the event, sharing exclusive footage and discussions.
