Former child star Raquel Lee Bolleau has filed a lawsuit against Disney for negligence in connection with alleged on-set sexual abuse during the production of the 2001 Disney Channel Original Movie The Poof Point.

Bolleau, now an adult, alleges that she was repeatedly sexually assaulted by an unnamed male staffer when she was just 14 years old. According to her attorneys, the assault occurred multiple times at a hotel in Salt Lake City and on a flight back to Los Angeles.

The lawsuit claims that despite warning signs of abuse, Disney failed to protect Bolleau or investigate the allegations. Her professional performance began to decline as a result of trauma from the assault, with serious changes in her behavior including appearing sick and intoxicated on set.

Bolleau's attorneys say she was blamed for the changes by studio executives, who described her as 'out of control.' The lawsuit seeks damages for alleged economic losses and emotional distress, as well as punitive damages, attorneys' fees, and other costs.
