Disney Teams Up with TikTok on Creator-Driven Content Initiative
The Walt Disney Company has entered into a global content-sharing agreement with TikTok that will allow participating creators to produce short-form videos using scenes and material from Disney films and TV shows.
According to the announcement, hundreds of productions in Disney's content library will be made available to creators, including Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and FX franchises. The program will first be tested in the United States before expanding to other markets.
Disney Chief Marketing and Brand Officer Asad Ayaz stated that 'the best storytellers are fans first,' adding that this collaboration creates a new bridge between Disney's stories and the creativity they inspire.
