Disney Teases New Online Game with Mysterious Riddle Series

Walt Disney Imagineering has begun teasing its new online game, Society of Explorers and Adventurers (S.E.A.), which was first announced at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. During a presentation about S.E.A., Imagineers hinted at an upcoming artifact related to the game but had it 'stolen' by an unknown character.

On their Instagram page, Disney has posted the first clue in the form of a riddle that will eventually reveal the name of the thief and introduce a new character into the S.E.A. universe. The instructions accompanying the post mention that all answers can be found within Disneyland attractions or online.

The goal is to solve each riddle, which will provide a letter that ultimately spells out the name of the antagonist. This development may shed light on the connection between S.E.A. and the Matterhorn, previously teased at D23. Additionally, recent updates in other Disney parks, such as Lord Henry Mystic becoming a meet-and-greet character at Hong Kong Disneyland and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad receiving significant S.E.A. details at Magic Kingdom, hint at an expansion of the S.E.A. storyline.
