Disney unveiled an extensive lineup of upcoming films and series during its D23 Entertainment Showcase in Anaheim, California, on August 14. The studio announced release dates for highly anticipated sequels, including Incredibles 3 (June 16, 2028), Coco 2 (November 2029), The Bluey Movie (August 6, 2027), and Lilo & Stitch 2 (May 26, 2028). Pixar’s slate also features original films like Ghost Market (March 2028) and Gatto (March 5, 2027), with notable voice talent such as Mark Ruffalo and Laurence Fishburne.
The schedule extends Disney’s theatrical and streaming pipeline to 2029, with a mix of animation, live-action, and family titles. Live-action projects include a Tangled remake (March 31, 2028) and Ice Age: Boiling Point (February 5, 2027). Streaming highlights include Marvel Television’s VisionQuest (October 14, 2026) and Oswald, a live-action/animated hybrid series (February 17, 2027).
