Rob Gehring to Lead Coca-Cola North America as New President
Coca-Cola has officially announced that Rob Gehring, the current CEO of Monster Energy Americas, will take over as the president of Coca-Cola’s North America Operating Unit (NAOU) on December 1, 2026. Gehring’s appointment follows the departure of Jennifer Mann, who previously held the position. John Murphy, who has been serving as the interim North America president since Mann’s departure, will step back from this role.
Gehring’s background includes significant experience in bottling, Walmart, and Monster Energy, which is seen as a strong trifecta of expertise for his new role. He will report directly to Coca-Cola CEO Henrique Braun. The company’s US bottlers have expressed enthusiasm about Gehring’s leadership, recognizing his diverse experience in the beverage industry.
The transition comes as Coca-Cola continues to navigate the evolving landscape of the North American beverage market. Gehring’s tenure is expected to bring a fresh perspective, leveraging his extensive knowledge in both traditional retail and energy drink sectors.
