Disney Unveils Exciting Plans for Future Theme Parks

Disney's D23 fan expo brought excitement to Anaheim as Imagineering unveiled new details about upcoming attractions. The Horizons: A Carousel of Progress showcase, hosted by Neil Patrick Harris, gave a sneak peek into the future of Disney theme parks.

The Avengers Campus expansion at Disney California Adventure will feature two new rides in 2028: the Avengers Infinity Defense dark ride and Stark Flight Lab thrill ride. In Pixar Pier, a Coco boat ride is currently under construction, with its backstory picking up where the original animated film left off.

Disneyland's entertainment lineup for 2027 will take a nostalgic trip down memory lane with classic shows like 'Remember... Dreams Come True' and 'World of Color.' Meanwhile, Disneyland Paris will open the Space Mountain: From the Earth to the Moon ride overlay in 2027, while Tokyo Disneyland is building an indoor roller coaster called Space Mountain Earthrise.

The Tropical Americas land at Disney's Animal Kingdom in Florida will feature two marquee attractions: the Encanto boat ride and Indiana Jones dark ride. The new land will also include an enchanted carousel, with maquettes on display at the D23 pavilion.
