Disney Unveils Grand Lobby and New Lounge for Lakeshore Lodge

Disney has shared new details about its upcoming Lakeshore Lodge at Walt Disney World Resort. The resort will feature a grand lobby with floor-to-ceiling windows offering unobstructed views of Bay Lake. The lobby will also boast hundreds of colorful glass leaves hanging from above as part of the blown glass Colors of the Wind sculpture.

At the center of the lobby floor is a custom bronze centerpiece designed by Walt Disney Imagineering, with a fiberoptic river flowing around it. This design element incorporates familiar characters from decades of Disney animated films etched into its design.

In addition to the grand lobby, Branch & Brush will be a new lounge located just off the lobby area. The lounge will serve handcrafted cocktails and feature a striking color-changing chandelier designed to reflect all four seasons.

The resort's food and beverage locations will include Moonglade, Bay Lake Provisions, Paint Out Point Bar & Grill, Dandelion Terrace, and now Branch & Brush, making it the fifth confirmed location. Disney's Lakeshore Lodge is set to open on July 1, 2027.
