Disney Unveils Preschool Products in Interactive NYC Event
Disney Consumer Products recently transformed Color Factory NYC into an immersive Disney-themed experience for kids. The event, titled 'First-to-School: In Full Color', showcased the company's upcoming preschool products featuring popular movie and show titles such as Toy Story 5, Spider-Man, Star Wars, and more.
The event offered a mix of play and discovery in each room, with plenty of photo opportunities. The DCP team had planned every detail, including Disney character plushies in the ball pit, themed snacks, and hidden Mickey's on the 'Back to School' chalkboards. Children were able to make their own 'first-to-school' kit at the end of the tour, complete with choice of backpack, lunch bag, water bottles, trinkets, and more.
The story time room was a highlight for parents who want to encourage their children's love of reading. Kersten Hamilton, author of 'Lilibet makes a friend', read her book to kids in the room while answering their questions about the illustrations.
The event also featured fun merchandise themes, including 'varsity' vibe clothes with Mickey and Minnie patches and numbers, as well as educational toys such as the Lilypad powered by Leapfrog.
