Disney has unveiled a scale model of its new Cars-themed land at the Magic Kingdom in Florida. The model, measuring 19-by-19 feet, was on display at the D23 fan event in Anaheim, California. According to Disney Imagineering, the area is inspired by national parks in America's Rocky Mountains and the history and sights of the American frontier.

The new zone in Frontierland contains two new Cars attractions, which were showcased through highlights from various projects around the world at the D23 pavilion. The pavilion also featured models of other upcoming Disney theme park projects, including Avengers Campus expansion, Avatar land, and Lion King attraction at Disneyland Paris.

Disney's D23 fan event ran from August 14 to 16 in Anaheim, California, offering guests a look at various Disney parks projects around the world. The Imagineering pavilion showcased painted maquettes of 'monster-fied critters' for Monstropolis at Disney's Hollywood Studios and audio-animatronic figures for the upcoming Encanto attraction.
