Disney World Overhauls Attractions and Venues with Major Updates

This week at Disney World brought about significant changes to the theme parks and hotels. The Expedition Everest Single Rider Line has officially ended, much to the dismay of many visitors. This decision comes after the attraction's loading system was changed in May 2026, eliminating the need for a single rider line.

The Turf Club Bar and Grill at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will reopen on September 30th with a new menu featuring dishes such as crispy chicken wings, sweet-and-spicy Brussels sprouts, and lemon butter shrimp. The restaurant's reopening comes after a refurbishment period.

Another significant change is the permanent closure of Atlantic Dance Hall at Disney's BoardWalk Resort. This popular spot was known for its late-night entertainment and will now be available only for private events through Disney Meetings & Events and Disney Fairy Tale Weddings.

The Alien Swirling Saucers ride in Disney's Hollywood Studios has also undergone a transformation, with the addition of new narration, signage, and songs. The ride now features Lilypad from Toy Story 5, adding to its existing attractions.
