Disney World Passholder Reservations Hit Capacity at EPCOT and Hollywood Studios

Disney's Walt Disney World Annual Passholders faced a challenge on September 26 as reservation capacity was reached for EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. According to Disney's own Annual Pass Terms and Conditions, park reservations are divided between Annual Passes and daily theme park tickets, with Passholders receiving only part of the total reservation capacity.

This means that even if one type of ticket is sold out, other types can still be reserved. In this case, Magic Kingdom and Disney's Animal Kingdom remained available to Passholders, while EPCOT and Hollywood Studios were no longer selectable through the Passholder reservation inventory.

The September 26 sellout highlights the uneven experience created by Disney's current reservation model, which can swing from broad flexibility on one date to limited same-day choices on another. Despite recent changes aimed at balancing advance planning and spontaneity, Passholders still face challenges in securing reservations for their preferred parks.
