Disney World Raises Ticket and Dining Prices Again
Walt Disney World Resort has raised ticket prices once again, continuing an unwelcome pattern. The increases extend beyond tickets and annual passes, affecting dining prices across the parks and resort hotels. While the changes are widespread, they are not extreme, with most price hikes being modest.
The largest increases observed were for soft drinks. Regular fountain drinks now cost $4.99, up from $4.79, while large fountain drinks have risen to $5.99 from $5.79. Coffee, tea, and hot cocoa prices also saw small increases, with regular sizes going up by 20 cents and large sizes by a dime. Over 90% of the food price adjustments were $1.00 or less.
These incremental changes may add up for larger groups or longer visits, but they are unlikely to significantly impact overall budgets. The price adjustments come alongside other Disney food news, including a preview of new food offerings for the upcoming Monstropolis land and a new cheese exhibit at EPCOT's International Food & Wine Festival.
