Disney World Reveals Festive Holiday Plans for 2026
Walt Disney World is gearing up for a magical holiday season in 2026, offering a variety of festive events and experiences from November 13 through January 6, 2027. Guests can enjoy special events like Disney Jollywood Nights and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, as well as explore holiday traditions from around the world at EPCOT. The celebration includes themed food and beverages, characters in festive outfits, and special holiday entertainment across all four theme parks and Disney Springs.
At Magic Kingdom, visitors can witness the Wintry Excitement During 'Frozen Holiday Surprise,' where Olaf and his snowgie siblings decorate Cinderella Castle with garlands and ornaments. The park will also feature stunning holiday decor, including Main Street, U.S.A., Cinderella Castle, TRON Lightcycle / Run, Space Mountain, and Haunted Mansion. The world-famous Jingle Cruise returns with festive-themed gags and decorations, providing a jolly adventure through the jungle. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will also take place on select nights, offering festive entertainment and overlays on classic rides.
EPCOT will host the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, featuring seasonal offerings and entertainment from November 27 through December 30, 2026. Guests can enjoy holiday flavors from around the world and the return of the Candlelight Processional, a moving retelling of the Christmas Story with celebrity narrators. Disney’s Hollywood Studios will bring holiday charm with 'Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets: Obligatory Holiday Overlay,' a festive celebration filled with seasonal tunes and new surprises.
Disney Springs will offer shopping for stocking stuffers and festive deals, while resort hotels will be decked out with holiday decorations. Special holiday merchandise, new deals and discounts, and so much more are in store for visitors looking to make the most of their cheerful visit.
