Disney World Unveils Major Changes for 2027, Including New Land and Festivals

Disney World is gearing up for several major changes in 2027. The Magic of Disney Animation has soft opened at Hollywood Studios, marking a significant milestone in the land's completion. This family-friendly area features Off The Page, Olaf Draws, The Once Upon A Studio Theater, and the Drawn to Wonderland Playground.

Fans can meet characters, learn to draw like Disney animators, catch a show, and more in this new area. The soft opening also finalized the land's completion since it was opening in two phases.

In other news, EPCOT has announced celebrity narrators for the Candlelight Processional. The lineup includes Auli'i Cravalho, Gary Sinise, To Be Announced, Whoopi Goldberg, Robin Roberts, Jason Kelce, Neil Patrick Harris, and many others.

EPCOT also confirmed two dates for EPCOT festivals in 2027: Festival of the Arts will kick off on January 15th, while the Flower and Garden Festival will begin on March 10th. Additionally, Disney has announced After Hours event information for 2027, with select nights available at EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Magic Kingdom.
