Disneyland Hotel's Decline: Is the Premium Price Worth It?

The Disneyland Hotel has been welcoming guests to the Happiest Place on Earth for nearly seven decades, but its current condition is falling short of expectations. Opened in October 1955, just months after Disneyland itself, the hotel was not originally owned by Disney and underwent significant renovations over the years. However, recent complaints from guests have raised questions about the value of staying at this premium resort.

Some visitors have taken to Reddit to share their disappointing experiences, citing issues with cleanliness, noise, and comfort. One guest claimed they paid $7,000 for four nights at The Villas at Disneyland Hotel, only to find 'someone else's breakfast on the floor' when they arrived. Others reported dusty rooms, uncomfortable beds, and a lack of food options.

Construction walls installed around a section of the hotel have also caused frustration among guests, who claim that the changes are not worth the premium price tag. The loss of early entry to Disneyland's theme parks has also been cited as a major drawback for some visitors.
