Disneyland Paris Resort has closed its 'Colonel Hathi's' restaurant in Adventureland, inspired by the iconic elephant character from Walt Disney Animation Studios' 1967 film The Jungle Book and Rudyard Kipling's original Mowgli stories. The Quick-Service dining location is undergoing refurbishment until October 15.

A sign on the construction walls reads 'This area is being refurbished for your future enjoyment,' but European Disney Parks fans have their own thoughts about what the restaurant needs to improve. One suggestion is changing the menu, which currently serves a mix of Indian cuisine staples and Mickey Mouse-shaped pizzas and pastas.

The closure has sparked discussion among fans on social media, with some sharing photos of the restaurant's past and present state. The renovation is expected to bring improvements, but no exact plan has been shared by Disneyland Paris Resort.
