Disney's BoardWalk Inn Luna Park Pool Closure Extended Until April 2027

Walt Disney World guests planning their 2027 vacations have another resort closure to be aware of. The company has extended refurbishment work at Disney's BoardWalk Inn, which was previously expected to finish in late 2026. This means that construction and unavailable amenities will stretch into early 2027.

The biggest disruption for guests staying at the resort involves Luna Park Pool, which is scheduled to close from January 11, 2027, until April 2027. The Luna Park Crazy Play Area and Leaping Horses Libations will also be closed during this period for routine maintenance.

While Disney regularly refurbishes pools at its hotels, the closure of Luna Park Pool could still impact guests' plans. For families who build resort days into their vacations, staying at BoardWalk Inn might not make sense if they're planning to spend time at the pool.

However, it's essential to note that Disney's BoardWalk Inn itself isn't scheduled to completely shut down. Guests can still book and stay at the resort while the refurbishment continues, but some amenities will be unavailable during the construction period.
