Disney's Christmas Party Ticket Sales Lag Behind Recent Years

Walt Disney World's Christmas season ticket sales are experiencing an unusual trend. As of September 22, tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party remain available for all 25 scheduled parties at Magic Kingdom. This is despite the event beginning on November 8.

Disney typically sells out its Christmas party nights quickly. In 2024, the first night sold out on September 3. Last year, it was September 10. However, this year Disney hasn't sold out a single night yet, with 19 days fewer than in 2024 and 12 days fewer than in 2025.

Compared to previous years, the contrast is striking. In 2025, every November party date eventually disappeared by November 3. By November 15, only one party remained, and the entire season sold out on November 19. The 2024 season sold out on November 30.

The slow pace of ticket sales may indicate a change in demand for this premium event. However, it's essential to note that Christmas and New Year's remain among the most popular times to visit Walt Disney World, and party-ticket availability doesn't necessarily reflect overall crowd numbers.
