Disney's Lakeshore Lodge Lobby and Lounge Unveiled Ahead of October Opening

Disney's highly anticipated Lakeshore Lodge is getting closer to opening its doors. The resort, located on the south shore of Bay Lake at Walt Disney World, has revealed new details about its grand lobby and a new lounge called Branch & Brush.

The grand lobby will feature huge windows that stretch from floor to ceiling, offering guests breathtaking views of nature as soon as they enter. The design is inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios' Pocahontas, with a shimmering fiberoptic river flowing across the floor and a custom bronze centerpiece designed by Walt Disney Imagineering.

A closer look at the centerpiece reveals that it's etched with familiar friends from decades of Disney animation. Above the lobby, a blown glass sculpture called Colors of the Wind will hang, filling the space with movement, color, and wonder.
