Disney's Lakeshore Lodge to Open in Summer 2027, Offering Unique Accommodations

Disney's highly anticipated Lakeshore Lodge is set to open on July 1, 2027, at Walt Disney World. The resort will offer a range of accommodations, including freestanding Lake Houses and traditional resort rooms.

The most distinctive feature of the resort is its Lake Houses, which are built directly along the edge of Bay Lake. These one- or two-bedroom retreats come with private porches over the water, full kitchens, and washer and dryer units. The interior design is themed around Walt Disney Animation Studios' 'Brother Bear,' with artwork nodding to the film's Alaskan setting.

The resort will also offer eight distinct room types, each themed after a different Disney animated film. These include duo studios themed around 'Encanto,' deluxe studios themed around 'Bambi,' and grand villas sleeping up to 12 guests, themed around 'Fantasia.'
