Disney's Magic of Animation Brings Beloved Characters to Life

The Magic of Disney Animation has finally arrived at Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World, completing a multi-year renovation that includes an updated version of The Little Mermaid, A Musical Adventure and a complete overhaul of the previous Animation Courtyard.

One of the main draws is the Olaf Draws! animation class, where kids can watch a real Disney artist interact with an animatronic Olaf to create animated characters. This experience has been averaging around a 30-minute wait since opening.

The area also features character meet and greets, including Mulan, Rapunzel, Chip ‘n’ Dale, Donald and Daisy, Goofy, and Stitch in the Off the Page! section, as well as the Drawn to Wonderland playground inspired by Alice in Wonderland and Mary Blair's art.

The entire area is incredibly well-themed, with spontaneous character moments happening throughout the courtyard. Additionally, there are character statues found throughout the area, which adds to the immersive experience for kids.
