Disney's Magic of Animation Brings Imagination to Life at Hollywood Studios

Cast Member previews are underway at The Magic of Disney Animation, an immersive experience set to open on September 14, 2026. This highly anticipated attraction promises a unique blend of interactive experiences and nostalgic charm.

The building itself is inspired by the real Roy E. Disney Animation Building in Burbank, California, reflecting Walt Disney's roots and legacy. A key feature of The Magic of Disney Animation will be its diverse range of experiences, including Olaf Draws!, where visitors can participate in drawing classes hosted by an Audio-Animatronics Olaf.

Other highlights include Off the Page!, featuring character meet-and-greet spaces themed around the animation process; Once Upon A Studio Theater, showcasing the Emmy Award-winning short film with enhanced effects; Drawn to Wonderland, an indoor playground inspired by Mary Blair's concept art from Alice in Wonderland; and Enchanted Art Gallery, a curated selection of Disney Animation artwork that springs to life.

Senior Walt Disney World leadership, including park Vice Presidents and senior figures from Walt Disney Imagineering and Disney Live Entertainment, were spotted exiting the building today. Previews for social media influencers and media are also scheduled this week, which may provide more insight into the attraction's interior and overall design.
