Disney's Magic of Animation Experience Set for September 2026 Debut

The Magic of Disney Animation is set to open on September 14, 2026, at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Florida. This immersive experience is based on the animated short film 'Once Upon a Studio' and features refurbished buildings that emulate the look and feel of the Walt Disney Studios lot in Burbank, California.

The experience includes Easter eggs and nods to favorite Disney films throughout its 64 featured animated movies. Upon arrival at the reception area, guests will notice details like Cinderella's slipper on display, as well as a Lost and Found Department with recognizable items from various Disney films.

One of the unique features of The Magic of Disney Animation is the opportunity to meet characters in 'Off the Page!' and learn how to draw them with Olaf. This interactive experience takes guests through the creative process, guided by recorded tips and techniques from Disney animation artists, with Olaf adding his own playful humor.

The experience also includes a theater showing the short film 'Once Upon a Studio,' which honors over a century of Walt Disney Animation. Additionally, there is an enchanted art gallery where artwork comes to life, featuring favorite Disney animated characters.
