Fi Recalls Pet Supplements Due to Possible Salmonella Contamination
A pet company called Fi has issued a voluntary recall of two lots of dietary supplements for dogs due to possible salmonella contamination. According to the FDA, no illnesses have been reported so far, but ingredients in the recalled supplements may contain the pathogen. The affected products were sold directly to consumers through Fi, Amazon and Chewy.com.
The recalled products are Fi Calming supplement for Dogs 180 grams with Lot number 26118 and UPC 8 50064 80011 1, and Fi 8-in-1 Formula supplement for Dogs 180 grams with Lot number 26159 and UPC 8 50055 11168 4. Pet owners should stop using the product immediately and before throwing it away, they should make sure the container is sealed tightly.
