Disney's Twilight Zone Tower of Terror Scaffolding Removal Reveals Refurbished Facade
Walt Disney World Resort has begun removing scaffolding from the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attraction exterior at Disney's Hollywood Studios. This marks a significant step in the refurbishment process, which began with a construction permit filed by Disney in March.
The removal of the scaffolding allows guests to see the refurbished Hollywood Tower Hotel facade for the first time. The facade has undergone repainting with bright pink paint, and new layers have been added to give it an intentionally aged, haunted look.
Despite ongoing exterior construction, the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attraction remains open and operational. Walt Disney World Resort has not announced plans to close the ride for refurbishment, allowing guests to continue enjoying the experience while the surrounding area is updated.
