Disney's Vacation Fun Closes Again Amid Jollywood Nights Expansion
Vacation Fun, an original animated short featuring Mickey and Minnie, is scheduled to close at Disney's Hollywood Studios on October 28, 2026. This marks its second closure this year, with the first being a temporary shutdown in August for a Kermit the Frog merchandise distribution event.
The attraction returned on September 28 but will be unavailable again until further notice. The reason for the closure is unclear, but it comes one month after Vacation Fun reopened and as Disney prepares to expand its separately ticketed holiday event, Jollywood Nights, across the holiday calendar.
Jollywood Nights will run from November 7 through January 5, with tickets costing $169 to $199 per person plus tax. The party includes entertainment, characters, food, and select attractions like Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.
