The Dow Jones Industrial Average (.DJI) saw a significant gain on Friday, snapping its four-session losing streak. The index rose by 509.19 points or 0.98% to close at 52,573.29. This increase was largely driven by lower oil prices and gains in tech stocks such as Dell, HPE, and Apple.

The Dow-30, Nasdaq Composite, and S&P 500 all experienced a similar surge, with the Nasdaq Composite Index (.IXIC.US) gaining 251.31 points or 0.96% to reach 26,320.05. The gains in these indices came despite concerns over inflation, which had weighed on markets in recent sessions.

CNBC's Jim Cramer had previously warned that falling oil prices could provide a boost to stocks, but also noted the importance of the Federal Reserve's upcoming decisions on interest rates.
