Einride Taps Nvidia to Fuel Autonomous Trucking Expansion

Einride is collaborating with Nvidia to scale its autonomous trucking operations. The companies will work together to adapt Nvidia's Drive Hyperion platform for heavy-duty trucks, focusing on highway and suburban applications.

The partnership aims to expand Einride's autonomous freight operations, leveraging Nvidia's computing, sensors, software, and safety architecture. Einride currently operates hundreds of electric trucks in the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East, with a target fleet size of 1,500-2,000 vehicles by 2028.

Nvidia will provide the underlying computing platform and AI development tools for Einride's next-generation autonomous driving system. The companies expect to accelerate the deployment of autonomous trucks across freight networks, where about 80% of demand could be suitable for automation in the medium term.
