Einride Teams Up with Nvidia for Autonomous Trucking Tech

Einride, a Swedish freight technology company, has partnered with Nvidia to develop autonomous trucking technology. The collaboration will use Nvidia's DRIVE Hyperion platform for heavy-duty vehicles, which Einride will adapt for its own fleet of electric trucks.

Einride currently operates hundreds of electric trucks in the US, Europe, and the Middle East, including autonomous trucks in contracted customer deployments. The company expects to scale its fleet to 1,500-2,000 vehicles by 2028 based on customer demand, with approximately 80% of that suitable for automation in the medium term.

The partnership incorporates Nvidia's Hyperion platform, which includes a compute and sensor reference architecture for Level 4 autonomy, integrated with the Nvidia Halos safety system. Einride plans to deploy Nvidia Blackwell architecture with an Exemplar Cloud partner for training and testing autonomous driving models.
