Everlaw and Google Cloud Unite Their AI-Powered Tools for Legal Professionals

Everlaw and Google Cloud have partnered to integrate their respective AI-powered tools for legal professionals. Gemini Enterprise, a general-purpose AI tool, will now be connected with Everlaw's trusted platform for litigation and investigation data. This integration allows legal teams to use Gemini Enterprise on top of Everlaw's governed evidence foundation, giving them another way to leverage frontier AI in managing litigation or conducting internal investigations.

According to Max Christoff, Chief Technology Officer at Everlaw, the real unlock is not just great intelligence but secure and governed access to evidence. The partnership enables Gemini Enterprise to access a powerful set of Everlaw capabilities focused on working directly with the evidence record. This includes search, document and metadata retrieval needed by legal professionals.

The integration will allow legal teams to use Everlaw directly in Gemini Enterprise for high-value areas such as analyzing vast troves of documents, generating early case insights, and planning for new matters. Everlaw provides the platform where legal teams turn litigation data into effective case strategy, while Gemini Enterprise adds a new AI option for synthesis and insight.

The partnership reflects Everlaw's broader approach to AI interoperability: legal teams should be able to work with the tools they prefer without moving sensitive evidence into disconnected systems or compromising governance frameworks. This integration is available in a private beta on Google Cloud's Gemini Enterprise today and will be available for all joint customers of Everlaw and Gemini Enterprise soon.
