The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has announced that it will delay the certification of Boeing's 737 Max 10 due to a software glitch.

The issue, which was first reported by The Wall Street Journal, is related to a software update developed by GE Aerospace for the 737 Max flight management computer's operating system.

According to the FAA Administrator Bryan Bedford, the agency will not certify the Max 10 until it determines whether the glitch 'is a safety of flight issue or not.'
