FAA to Review Boeing 737 MAX Software Changes
The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is set to convene a review of Boeing's 737 MAX software issue on Friday.
This comes after the FAA received data from Boeing related to the Maneuvering Characteristics Augmentation System (MCAS), which was implicated in two fatal crashes that led to the grounding of the aircraft in 2019.
The review is expected to assess whether the changes made by Boeing have adequately addressed concerns about the MCAS system, which has been at the center of regulatory scrutiny and public outcry over safety issues.
