Fervo Energy Stock Soars on Record-Breaking Geothermal Deal with Google

Fervo Energy stock surged 15% on Tuesday after securing its largest-ever power deal with Alphabet's Google.

The agreement, worth nearly 400 megawatts of electricity, will power a midsize city and is part of Fervo's Cape Station project in southwestern Utah.

The company plans to begin delivering power to Google in 2028 from what it intends to develop into the world's largest enhanced geothermal facility.
