Flagship phone season is in full swing as Apple's iPhone 18 Pro Max and Google's Pixel 11 Pro XL are set to launch soon. The Made by Google event on August 12 will likely see the release of the new Pixel series, with a starting price tag of $1,299 for the base model.

The iPhone 18 Pro Max is rumored to follow in September, possibly with a starting price of $1,299 or even as high as $1,399. Both devices are expected to feature improved cameras, processors, and displays. The Pixel 11 Pro XL may boast a new 'Pixel Glow' feature on the back, which could animate and change colors based on notifications.

The iPhone 18 Pro Max is rumored to have a smaller Dynamic Island cutout, thanks to Apple's move of key Face ID components under the glass. It will also likely retain its 6.9-inch OLED display, although it may feature an advanced anti-reflection coating for reduced glare.
