A recent burglary in Amador County, California, was cracked thanks to Flock cameras' license plate reader system.

Deputies responded to a reported burglary on Buena Vista Road in the Jackson Valley area southwest of Ione earlier this month. They issued a be-on-the-lookout for the suspect and his vehicle, which investigators searched using the Flock system. The system showed the suspect's vehicle pulling into a Home Depot in Elk Grove, south of Sacramento.

The suspect was detained at the scene, but their name wasn't released. Deputies recovered multiple stolen items from the vehicle during the search.
