Fog Turns San Francisco Landmark into Monolithic Marvel

Derek Zhao is a machine-learning engineer at Disney California who relocated from Texas to Treasure Island, an eight-minute ferry ride from San Francisco. He enjoys jogging around the island and has learned to appreciate the beauty of his surroundings with just his phone's camera.

Zhao was captivated by a recent foggy scene that turned the top of San Francisco's Salesforce Tower into a monolith. The marine layer, which is responsible for the fog, ironically made the tower stand out more clearly in the skyline.
