Apple has entered the foldable smartphone market with its iPhone Duo, sparking debate among analysts. The device features a book-style design with a 5.4-inch outer display and a 7.6-inch foldable inner screen.

The iPhone Duo starts at $1,999 for 256GB, while Apple also unveiled the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, which feature improved cameras and longer battery life.

Analysts are divided on whether the iPhone Duo's new form factor will drive significant consumer interest. Evercore ISI analyst Amit Daryanani maintained a Buy rating and $365 price target, arguing that the device could support the iPhone upgrade cycle.

However, Jefferies analyst Edison Lee remained cautious, reiterating his Sell rating and $263.66 price target, citing concerns over Apple's focus on driving iPhone volumes at the expense of margins.
